July 4th doings in the yard

Looks like a 4th coach is being placed on today's 216 and 463 is hot. From the cameras viewpoint it looks like they did not put up bunting this year.

The 484 is getting coal as it readies to take the dinner train up to Cumbres.

After 215 arrives and turns at the wye, #489 and #484 switch places before 484 leaves with the sunset extra train today. Train should be back in tonight just before the Chama fireworks start -- I think they take folks down to the wye for viewing if I remember correctly.

That seems like an amazing fireworks show, nearly an hour long if I read the time right. I captured some of it, will post some video for those that couldn't watch later today - have to get home and see what I can put together.

Here's a little compilation music video I put together from the evening. Dinner train and fireworks - a good mix!
Music is a compilation of various US Military marching bands.
