Goose not going anywhere?

Unread postby Gary Townshend » Sun Jul 05, 2015 8:35 am

For two days in a row, the Galloping Goose has not left Chama at the times posted on the railroad's website,

Is it not in working order?

See viewtopic.php?f=79&t=2831 no clue to what is wrong but it still looks jacked up in the rear.

Just checking on the Goose. It doesn't appear anyone knows the status. Still nice to hear the horn. Thanks Sharon for keeping an eye on it. Well....time for departure.

I see people board the back of the Goose so who knows maybe it will head out, and he just gave the 5 minute warning.

Goose #5 left with passengers at around 10:20AM -- I lost the camera feed about then, major thunderstorm here, but they were headed out of the yard. Obviously whatever the issue was they got it fixed.

Should be back in the yard after 1530 EDT since they were only going to Cumbres and back.

Thanks, Sharon, I am watching for it from the EDT Time Zone (and across the border) right now!

Goose returned about 15 minutes after 215 came in.

Considering that today's trip was a round trip to Cumbres with no lunch. That would be a very long day sitting up at Cumbres waiting for 215 to come by.
