At 11:22 MDT the Highway camera at Cumbres caught 216 at the crossing.

Check back later for Larry's 216 departure and 215 arival videos.

Reminder too of the special afternoon train to Osier.

Did anyone capture the train leaving Antonito?
It to was captured by the CDOT cam.
Unfortunately, my computer skills aren't good enough for me to capture it and post it.

Allan, catching the train on the cdot cameras is about 99.9% luck! I think they take a snap shot every 10 minutes so the timing has to be perfect.

06-13-15 Train 216 departure
Image

06-13-15 - About 2:30PM the extra train for the Chris Collins concert at Osier departed. Video includes repositioning of the cars for boarding, and the departure -- a fair amount of thunder in the area, some rain but the heaviest seems to have come after the train left. Let's hope it's drier at Osier for them to enjoy the concert!

A gully washer hits the yard following the recent trend of wet unsettled weather on the weekends. The Osier special train is out opening up the view from the depot platform cam.

484 brings in the 215 at 4:40 on a dreary/wet afternoon.

06-13-15 Train 215 arrival. Every so often the atmospheric conditions really seem to carry sound to the microphones on this camera. First few minutes are some of the crossing whistles heard before the train gets to the yard -- quite loud today, so I just let the video run. Actual train arrival about 4 minutes in.

You're welcome Jason, thanks for the kind words! I have some more of the switching after they got back, that looks pretty good in the depot cam lighting, will be posting that after I get the chance to edit it.
