Texas State Railroad 2015

Unread postby Jason Rose » Mon May 04, 2015 1:08 pm

Five narrow gauge enthusiast from Texas (I think we're all members of the Friends) helped organize the Texas State Railroad Railfan Photography Special last weekend. Here are a few photos from the night shoot. It'll be a while before I finish going through my stuff, but eventually I'll post more photos.

The locomotive was formerly TSR #300 (red). She has been repainted and renumbered for one of her former railroads and is now Southern Pine Lumber Company #28.

Thanks, Steve. But, I'm no master. Just a blind squirrel occasionally finding a nut.

Very nice Jason on the additional posted photos! Love the one on the bridge. Question: Where is this location of these photos taken? We've had a few photo charters here in Michigan (Peter Lerro; John Craft) taken of PM 1225, and some also of the sister Mudhen #464 located at Huckleberry Crossroads Village. The latter is a yearly event for their "Railfan Weekend."

My 9th grade art teacher would give you an "A", just because of the "Perspective" view, or the "V" scene. (He gave me straight A's for perspective drawing and floor planning back in those days when females weren't recognized to do that stuff." Oooo, that was long ago!)
