Unread postby Tim Tennant » Mon Sep 22, 2014 9:10 am

It is with a very heavy heart that we inform you that Friends Director Bob Craine passed away at his home in Tulsa, OK Sunday evening from a massive heart attack. Bob was 66 years old. We have no details as to arrangements yet and will pass them along when we receive them. Please keep Bob's wife Debbie and their family in your thoughts and prayers.

As has often been said of the C&TSRR, "success has many fathers", but Bob's unstinting, selfless efforts over so many years on behalf of the railroad, especially when he was Chairman of the Friends, deserve special and lasting praise. His leadership and sure judgment were truly vital to the railroad's success. All of us involved in the C&TSRR have lost a true friend, and the railroad has lost a devoted benefactor.
