They moved one of the K-36 tenders to the south side of the engine house this afternoon. I guess we are getting closer to seeing one under steam.

Unrelated - but does anybody know what the footings are from that you can see by the remaining tender in front of the stacks of ties? Might they be from the previous coal chute or something to do with the turntable that used to be in that area? Thanks.

I think you are seeing the end of the coal dumper track.
