C&TS Charter-December 7

Coined as the Great Locomotive Swap....the C&TS will run a charter on Saturday December 7, 2013. Locomotive 484 will depart Chama with a couple of cabooses and rider gon destined for Antonito. Locomotive 489 will depart Antonito with a couple of coaches destined for Chama. The trains will depart at 10:00am. Tickets are $65/each. There is no return transportation so if you desire to travel through you will have to arrange your own transportation otherwise you can change trains at Osier. Seats on the Chama train are limited to 25. The Conejos Chamber of Commerce will handle ticket sales on the Antonito side with ticket sales in Chama being handled at the depot (575-756-2151). I just called the Depot to buy my ticket, but they aren't quite ready for reservations yet. It'll be a couple of hours.
