It's Soooooo QUIET

Just had to look at the yard this evening...
I really miss the smoke and noise.
Is it time for the next season yet?

There's a count-down on the new camera page. I'll post it tomorrow if all goes well.

209 days, 12 hours, 49 minutes until the next scheduled train leaves Chama.

Gonna be a long winter...

Yes it is quiet, I've looked in 3 or 4 times over the last day or so to the same quiet scene. Let's hope that maybe we'll see something on Monday - wouldn't think they would leave that locomotive sitting outside all winter.

There was a wisp of smoke rising from the engine house on Friday, but no other activity. There seems to be a lot of "stuff" lying around outside. I would think they'd move some of it inside before old man winter arrives
