I did some practice flights at home to practice watching the signal strength and the satellite count. The plan was I would stop the flight and return if the signal strength got to 2 and or the satellite count down to 13. I also set up smart return to home which means it would come back by picking the easiest way to return.
A lot of practice and planning before the flight. Lucky me it worked.
