Discussions regarding the Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad's San Juan Extension (the area the C&T operates in today)
by Karl Strauss » Mon Jan 04, 2021 4:12 pm
Just happened to run across the show Trains & Locomotives on the RFD Channel. This show was titled Herron Rail - Narrow Gauge; it focused on our Favorite Railroad.
There was a scene of an eastbound freight out of Chama. One of the cars was a flat stacked to the hilt with fresh cut lumber.
Any knowledge of where this load would have originated?
Thanks in Advance

It's either the lumber mill at Chama (Skyline Lumber) or Wieldmann's lumber near Durango.
