GLrr = Good News ???

Unread postby Roger Hogan » Tue Jun 02, 2020 4:29 pm

Good news! The State of Colorado may allow scenic railroads to open for operation as early as this upcoming weekend. We hope to know by late Thursday. Our staff has been working extra hard to prepare the locomotives, cars and facilities for the upcoming season. Our trains will feature all open air cars at the start of the season so you may enjoy lots of extra space, sunshine and the fresh Rocky Mountain air. We are politely requesting that guests wear face masks and follow social distancing requirements. Face masks will be available for purchase for the nominal cost of $1.00 if you don't already have one. Thank you for your assistance. Please stay tuned for final confirmation of our opening day. It will be announced here and on our website: http://www.georgetownlooprr.com. We are excited and ready to go!
Locomotive #40 with Jennifer at the throttle stopped for a quick photo during test runs last week. The locomotive is ready to roll for this season after winter servicing including piston and ring replacements.
