Double header today?

Unread postby Edwin Frey » Sun Jun 16, 2013 7:21 am

Looks like both 488 and 489 are being serviced this morning. Interesting two watch two locomotives moving about at the same time. Perhaps this is preventative measure in anticipation of more caterpillar grease?

The Double Header today was indeed intended to prevent more caterpillar grease grief. And it worked very well if I may say so myself. Look for more of them in the near future until the Caterpillars have left for the season.

I do not know exactly how long the Caterpillars are supposed to stay around this year, but they're supposed to die off/ hibernate for at least another 10 years at the end of this one, so hopefully it is all just a temporary problem.
