Preps for today's double header: not sure if there was a problem, but 484 was at the pit for almost 40 minutes this morning.

Seems like a lot of the 484 pit time was to allow everyone else to shuffle around and out of the yard on the main, including the goose departure.

And wasn't that a lovely long train today!

A 14 car double header was 216's formation today. Once again there was a caboose but yet also a gondola at the rear.

Bruce, I think that there was a mechanical issue with 484 as steam was wafting about everywhere. The fire is usually cleaned in 10-15 minutes but today seemed a lot longer. The problem didn't seem to be with movements.
