463 has once again been fired up and is slowly smoking in the house. She could make an appearance today.

The 487 is also inside, so are we really sure its the 463? We know it has to get to Antonito in time for opening day so its a good guess.

463 was pushed through the west stall by 15 yesterday, got coal, and was pulled back inside. 487 does not have her tender yet.

15 backs down to a standard, gondola and cafe car.

15 backs down onto the coaches stored in the siding all winter. Then it heads to the front of the roundhouse.

I believe that the Santa Fe is the café car for the New Mexico set, with Chama being the Tourist and New Mexico is the parlor.

463 is out in the yard and one of the speeders is filling its water trailer at the pit. There maybe a run east tomorrow. Took on coal at the dock, see if its headed out for a break in run, yeo it is headed out of Chama with the speeder behind.

463 heads to the coal dock for fuelling. Then heads for a test run.

Interesting... when 463 got back from a jaunt out on the mainline, it was carrying a hefty amount of snow on its pilot beam. Looks like there's more work to be done before the season kicks off.
