Friends crew??

There are people working around the caboose that is parked on the bypass track where work projects are usually parked. This caboose has been sitting there all winter.

I believe that the caboose has been moved, and a tender is sitting in its place. This morning there were several people working around it, seemingly on the trucks and/or undercarriage. Hopefully next week we'll get to see it mated with a locomotive and fired up! The absence of a doghouse suggests that the tender belongs to #463.

I think that I remember the caboose and the tender being swap on Thursday the 18th. Almost made a post about it, but was thinking they were going to mate to an engine so I waited. Now it will happen while the camera is down, and will miss seeing it happen dang it.

From a video that Roger posted about "downtown Chama" you could see it was the tender to 315 since it did not have a doghouse.
