The top picture explains the bottom picture at 9:30 adding a coach to today's 216!!!!

At promptly 10:00 local time K-36 488 takes an 8 car 216 out onto the line. The caboose from recent days is off aa an extra coach is added.

45 minutes after 216's departure the yard is quiet with the only movements being a pedestrian and vehicle heading for the shop area.

I have returned and will be picking back up with the arrival of 215 this afternoon. A great big thanks to Larry and Rick for posting shots while I was out of town enjoying Seattle. Did catch the arrival of 215 on Saturday, I think, that had 14 cars, 12 regular and 2 cabeese. Wonder if they will be cycling those hopper cars in and out of Chama as they do track work for as long as the weather allows.

Looks to be 8 cars since half the parlor is showing above the bus.

The next grab at Cumbres does not show either train so the work extra must have followed 215 down the hill. Will have stills and video of both later as they arrive. Guess I was wrong on the work train, I can see the rider gon on the rear in the cam.
