10/7/18 Sunday double header & 2 weeks to go

Morning preparation: Right now, 0611 MDT, the tipple cams is not working and has been reported to Jason. Depot cam is OK, so have a small window on Chama doings.

We can see, from the depot cam, the smoke of a locomotive at the pit. Actually looks like 2 over there so double header again.

They are back up.

The 484 is done at the coal dock as the road locomotive waits on the south yard lead

Well, that did not last long, they have gone out again.

After the switching they came out with 3 extra coaches and a ride gon so 12 cars today. This extra rider gon in the front is a nice touch with all those passengers on board, they just don't have a docent for their information.

I did find it interesting that the tipple cameras were down but not the depot camera. I would have thought if this were a provider issue that it would be an all-or-nothing situation. Not sure if that is a diagnostic hint or not, but interesting to this neo-IT guy nonetheless.

Arrival of train 215: The final Fireman/Engineer School of the season kicks off today and 484 just went to the end of north yard for their check runs out.

It looks like 2 of the extra coaches as well as the extra open gon flipped back at Osier.
