Morning preparations: There are currently 9 cars staged along with the caboose which came in yesterday on 215.

The 489 is now at the tank as 484 is over the pit

The hostlers for 489 are done so its waiting on its road crew as the 484 is getting coal added for its run to Cumbres

The 489 has now coupled the second extra coach onto the consist

Departure of the double headed train 215:

The 484 has coupled onto the train before its is moved forward to load position

The train is in loading position and the charter caboose can be seen

As the 484 and 489 get their 10 car train underway we see that the caboose has a drumhead on it

The train passes the tipple as we again see full cars

looking at the logo on the caboose drumhead, wonder if its one of the Cattleman's organizations out to see the Aspens?

Looks like there is a Friends member clearing brush off the slope by the pit. There is a work session scheduled for the coming week in Antonito and usually a few do things in Chama.

Arrival of train 215:

I can't tell if the last car is the parlor or that caboose coming back.

The caboose was not turned at Osier

The caboose is carrying its drumhead on this end now and the 463 is approaching the depot
