Any idea as to why 488 has been inside the house for so long?

Actually Roger is correct, it will come out subbing for the inoperative 483 this weekend on the Trains' charters celebrating the 50th anniversary of the last freight over the line under D&RGW which was pulled by 483 and 484.

The 2nd time around. :smiley16: We did a faux '83 in 2010 using 487 (painted up like a Hollywood scarlet)

I understand that the 4 'vandals' who committed the atrocious act were eventually captured and sentenced to 10 years in El Paso TX
