Friends' Projects Featured by Heritage Rail Alliance

Heritage Rail Alliance was formed when the Tourist Railway Association (TRAIN) and the Association of Railway Museums (ARM) merged into one organization in 2012 and formed Heritage Rail Alliance. http://www.atrrm.org

Their on-line newsletter http://www.atrrm.org/news/ recently featured the Friends of the C&TS many projects since 2007, summarized from back issues of the Dispatch and postings in FIDO. You can view the story (and paise!) here:

One thing that I didn't realize or compute until now was that the 572 volunteers that gave 22,480 hours of volunteer time was the equivalent of 562 40-hour weeks or nearly 11 full-time employee years!
