4/30/18 Engine action Maybe

It looks like you can see an outline of an engine or tender out in front of the shop from the Depot cam. Tried to grab a snapshot, but can not. Maybe someone can.

According to Roger Hogan's video which he posted on YouTube on 4/28/18 the 488 and 487 are sitting on the Roundhouse lead and 455 (463) and 15 are occupying the Engine house leads. The Steam locomotives are without their tenders. There appeared to be nothing behind the Engine house.

Bill Grierson's comments are accurate. The Roundhouse structure obstruct the view of Locomotive 487 and you are left with a hazy view of Locomotive 488.

Roger has provided a wonderful video of an aerial view of the locomotives parked in the South yard. This screen clipping from the video shows an arrow pointing from the camera atop the restrooms North toward Locomotive 488. The camera angle hides Locomotive 487 from view. Naturally the best place to observe the activity of the Chama Yards is from being a raven or a passenger in Roger's Drone. Video posted to YouTube during the last week of April.

Recently learned the great news that Roger, his bride, and all their camera equipment will be in Chama at least for the summer.
