A few short videos from our visit

We arrived in Chama the day before we rode the train to Osier and back. After checking in to the hotel, we raced up the hill towards Cumbres Pass to do a bit of train chasing. Here we caught 463 drifting downgrade on it's way back to Chama. If you look closely you'll see a deer that got spooked by the train and ran off to the right.

This second video was recorded from the gondola. I just love the sound of the locomotive working upgrade!

The last video shows the blowdown of the boiler while we rounded Tanglefoot Curve. I was alone on the rear platform of the Parlor Car for this one.
