7/23/2017 487 On Schedule, Leaves 10:00 AM

Train 216 pulled by 487 leaves with 7 cars on time at 10:00 A.M. Some fellow standing on the vestibule, while looking at the tipple, forgot to wave when I shouted and waved frantically at him. Just trying to thank him for booking his ride with Cumbres/Tolec Railroad.

Train 215 arrives a bit ahead of schedule pulled by #463. How many cars did you count? Lots of riders in the open viewing car but none saw us watching and waving. Maybe they'll remember next time.

Sadly Rick, he probably didn't even know the cams were there, even though he was in the prime perch on the whole train to wave. August 6th & 28 days there after I will be waving from somewhere on the train daily.

This hostler look a bit weary and hopeful that this is the last task today. Locomotive 463 will be steam cleaned and have much of the road dust and grime blown out. The engine house will be #463's next destination.

Alright, my wife says I don't play fair. As all our many guest know, this is the South Yard from the Tipple. Or, it is the near North Yard from the Depot. How do you locate it?

Technically you are right Rick, but if it was my wife I would start calling it Near North Yard.
