I can't tell you how happy I am to see her there. I bought the 0400 in 1973 and restored her the best I could. In 1988 I sold her to Lindsey Ashby and we moved her to Silver Plume. She had some more work done but mostly she did a lot of sitting there. In the early 2000's she had more needed work done but unfortunatly in 2004 she headed to the CRRM and sat there ever since. I'm ready to see her run again!
Jerry, please check out the light box that Bill made for the caboose in some of the photos Jason will post today. The Friends are pulling out all the stops to make this fall's train as authentic as possible.
I will see if I can get a closeup of the light box today, but I have to stay out of the way of the caboose teams as both the 0306 and the 400 are 'in da house' getting serious work done on them. They are gonna look great when Don and his teams are finished with them!
