12-10-16 Antonio Toys For Tots Christmas Trains

Activity in the yard with a steam plume. The Marines have landed! Situation well in Hand!!

From C&TSRR webpage:
"Russ Miller, of the El Paso County Toys for Tots, said they have been searching for a strong partner to expand the TFT program into the Southern Colorado area and this is the perfect match. The Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad hopes to continue this program with the Marines Toys for Tots each year moving forward."

Steam plume getting stronger about a half hour before first train departs.

This week it is pure luck to catch the train in CDoT cam. Next week will be a wonderful time with seeing everything happening in Chama.

Wasn't lucky when I looked in to see a train today but caught a nice late sun over Cumbres..

Perhaps someone will catch a train Sunday.
