Tuesday, 12-15 #15 fired up

As of 11:00 AM, #15 is being fired up, perhaps to do some shuffling of the cars for the Christmas trains?

Looks like they are getting some things from the roundhouse this afternoon - have pulled out the flatcar and the loaders are moving and out.

That flat has the 488 parts on it so maybe doing work on it in the east stall. Also see Ed walking around on the depot cam.

Looks like they are headed into the depot house track and are going to move the cars there since the steps to the exhibit car have been pulled away. Though right now they are having problems with the switch.

Whatever they were going to do seems to be stymied by a frozen switch. Now 15 is over at the house. They have pulled 489 out and I think they are getting coal for it.

Two or 3 scoops loaded into the tender and back in the house it goes.

Looks like 15 has shut down over in front of the east stall to the house.

I know everybody else has already said this but usually there would be three empty tenders line on on the track where the lone old passenger car is. Tomorrow is the Pearl Harbor 75th anniversary. Sure is a lot going on - how nice to get to watch!

Right now the 3 tenders are outside the east stall south of the house and who knows if they plan to move them or leave back there.

Thanks Sharon, I tried to look through the trees but could not tell if anything was back there.

You can see the body of 487 on the west lead, but the trees totally block the east side.
