WOO HOO!!!!

Unread postby Jason Rose » Mon Oct 15, 2012 6:38 am

I just watched the Engineer/Fireman School freight leave. The cold weather really enhanced the steam and it was a beautiful sight!!

My thanks to the donors that made these cameras possible. Sitting in my office after having dealt with a Monday morning commute and being able to watch a steam freight charge up the hill LIVE with SOUND is truly incredible.

I looked at the cams when I got into work this morning not expecting to see anything so early. But, there in the dark was the Fireman/Engineer school freight lighting up the yard lead north of the tank. And, I could clearly see signals being passed with lights! In my mind they were lanterns, but in reality I'm sure they were flashlights.

Again, my thanks to the donors. This is an incredible way to start the day!

I second your thoughts Jason. The water tank and the track leading to it illuminated by the engine's headlight went well with my coffee this morning.

I thought this was a post about Homer Simpson.
