Wonder if they are using 489 today for work train or around the yard.

#489 has pulled #488 (?) out of the west stall, placed it on the east lead, and returned to inside the west stall itself ...

489 also took on nearly a full load of coal (and got water) before moving 484. 484 did not look like tender was attached.

I think not Sharon, given where #489 stopped for the lead switch to be changed - well short of the ashpit. Is it #484 ? I thought it had gone to Antonito last week & not returned ...

Mike - as far as I know the locomotives in Chama now are 484, likely no tender on the East side shop lead. 489 is currently hot inside the West shop, 463 and 487 are in Antonito, 487 is due to come back to Chama at some point with the coaches for the Christmas trains. 488 is, as far as I know, still in the rear of the East stall, and the tender was out back last I knew, but haven't had any real updates on 488 in a while.

Sharon if I have anything wrong there, please correct -- you do a much better job of keeping track than I do!!

Thanks Larry. I seem to have got out of sync with all the odd movements since closing day. I even got #15's number wrong earlier. I need a fresh brain ....

It's easy to do at this time of year, I often lose track myself. If things get moved around a lot I tried to do a weekly update sometime each week, so we'll see if that may be needed this year.
