10-30-16 Smoke!

Looks like some smoke??? on the mountain side off in the distance around 11:30. Yard looks eerily quiet.

Well that does not look healthy for the area. Still going an hour later.

Fire still going, you can also see the smoke in the Cumbres South cam

Doesn't seem to be much wind there today, so hopefully that will keep it from spreading too fast.

We now have more smoke - but this is a hot locomotive! Perhaps being readied for some work tomorrow.

At 5:30 local time we have two smoke plumes continuing to drift over the area.

A couple of deer visit the sandbox area then head up toward the depot, as our locomotive continues to steam away. Shop doors open, so looks like a crew staying overnight.
