Texas State Railroad Photographer's Special 2016 (Review)

Unread postby Jason Rose » Wed Jul 06, 2016 12:19 pm

Despite the incredible Texas heat and some occasional issues with sun angles, everything ran very smoothly. The air conditioners aboard the TSR 1511 and 129 kept us nice and cool between stops while the attendants kept us full of cold drinks and munchies. The railroad gave us a darn good lookin' mixed freight with Magma Arizona 7 on point. I heard not a single complaint from anyone about anything.

*Everyone involved in the planning and execution of this trip is a narrow gauge fan and reads this forum. I think most/all of us are also members of the Friends of the C&TS.

**The red lantern in the first few photos is an authentic Denver & Rio Grande Western lantern.

Some intriguing ideas for 2017 are percolating. More on that later....
