12/9/15 Smoke

There is smoke behind the house and from the depot does not seem to be 15. In fact you can't see it at all from depot cam.

Sounds like #15 starting up - though hard to hear. That's the only thing that would make that much smoke back there, perhaps to move 489 inside to prepare for the weekend. We'll see. If they do anything in the next 30 minutes I'll put up video, have to leave for work at 4pm, will put up anything else overnight. New job, can't get online from work (yet!). Looking forward to some steam as we move towards the weekend though!

489 outside in front of the roundhouse - unless I'm totally lost track, which I could have!

Just heard #15 horn.

Looks like you were right Sharon - my notes were old and not up to date.

I think its 463 in front of the round house and 484 in front of the left stall of the house with 488 inside on the left.

Well, from what can be seen from the depot cam, 15 moved out of view then came back and shut down. No 489 in view as of yet.

489 was pushed out of the right stall of the shop by #15. They brought over 3 or 4 bucket loads of coal, then #15 pulled 489 back inside the right stall of the shop, where she is sitting tonight.
I just got home from work, will work on putting up a video here in the morning. Perhaps we'll see some steam sometime tomorrow, or they may wait until Friday.
