Halloween at the Huckleberry RR 10/25/15

Unread postby Larry Gibson » Sun Oct 25, 2015 8:03 pm

After the summer season is over on Labor Day the RR shuts down until October for a few weekends of Halloween fun. Today was a perfect day to go to see the RR and fall colors under a blue sky. Here is a sampler of the fun and beauty of today with link to many more vids and pics. Following Halloween the RR shuts down again until the Christmas Trains begin after Thanksgiving and continue right up to Christmas Time.

Many more pics and vids here if you are interested:

Excellent shots sir! Would be nice someday to see 463 and 464 together -- obviously way too costly to have happen, but it's a nice dream!

Thanks Larry. It's great that this narrow gauge RR is almost in our backyard! We had a lovely time.

Huckleberry Crossroads Village Railroad is more closer to me, within 25 minutes, than Larry Gibson. They do an excellent job of decorating at Christmas time or during the month of December. This coming Monday, 16th, is Ladies Night Out, but I won't be there, as that would be my 3rd invite for the day. Whew! I like that name: Rio Grande East.
