As has often been said of the C&TSRR, "success has many fathers", but Bob's unstinting, selfless efforts over so many years on behalf of the railroad, especially when he was Chairman of the Friends, deserve special and lasting praise. His leadership and sure judgment were truly vital to the railroad's success. All of us involved in the C&TSRR have lost a true friend, and the railroad has lost a devoted benefactor.
