Project0779: Brake Testing Rolling Stock
To meet new FRA requirements, all freight rolling stock must have their brakes tested annually. That is the brake cylinder piston from caboose 0579. You have to disassemble, clean & lube it as part of a COTS (C = CLEAN, O = OIL, T = TEST, S = STENCIL) inspection. Brake inspections continue:
