The railroad asked us to get some photos and videos for their rebuild of Lava Tank. My Friend Tom and I left Chama early on Wednesday the 14th so we could get the photos and videos of the tank and still be there for the regular train.
The road to Lava Tank is sill terrible that has not changed.
IMHO I think it is wonderful that the railroad is going to rebuild Lava Tank and use it for the small engines. When this is done and they stop for water it will be around 5 minutes instead of 15 to 20 minutes.
