Colorado Commissioner, President Of The C&TSRR and General Manager Of The C&TSRR = Scott Gibbs.
When John Bush retired the C&T was going thru a difficult time with Covid and money was a real problem. At this time Scott and his wife Anna lived in Durango.
Scott volunteered to be the President and General Manager which was John Bush's job. He is doing this with no compensation (NO PAY or FREE). The commission agreed and he has been doing the job ever since.
He and Anna bought a house in Chama so he would be local and live where his new job was located. My understanding is he is doing this on a temporary basis until his replacement is trained and ready to take over.
Since Scott took over his new job responsibilities he and I have disagreed about policy and methods numerous times. We always discuss the method or policy in a respectful manner and then both of us get ready mentally & physically for the next project we are going to take on.
For those that have a problem with him doing the 3 jobs IMHO you need to get off your butt and go to your local gift shop and buy a thank you card and send it to Scott. IMHO he has shown his love for the railroad and the railroad family by doing all 3 jobs with no pay.
This is my opinion no more and no less.
