Difficult to tell for sure because of the billowing steam and smoke, but it looks as though #489 has been pulled out of the engine house, and that it's D&RGW paint on the tender has been returned to the Cumbres & Toltec lettering. Also noticed that there is a high-pitched whistle, like feedback, in the audio this morning.

3rd loco has indeed been pulled out this morning. The "feedback" sound has been reported to Jason, though I believe it's the same sound that last year we ID'd as machine shop sounds. It's gone now, which again leads me to think it's that same noise we had coming on now and then last year.

For those that are hearing the whiny off and on feedback sounds -- this was the main conversation on it last year. viewtopic.php?f=79&t=1885&hilit=feedback

I do think we are hearing the same sound, not something that's new. Just my opinion.

It's amazing how good the cameras look when the lens covers have been cleaned!

Looks like the Track Speeder needs a boost from the pickup to get started.

Like the new view from the south camera. Looks a little out of focus but that could just be me. Great job Jason.

Jason isn't done yet. Prepositioning the cameras was a climb up on the tipple type of job. The final tweaking of focus and exposure will be done from his 'mobile office'.
For you audiophiles, the North camera sound is now on too.

I'm fairly new to this, but I do like the wider view of the south camera. Thanks to all concerned.

WOW!!
Thank you sooo much for the wider view on the south camera!
It is sure nice to see not only the ash pit but also the woodworking bldg.
Is there any plan to widen the north camera view or is it already at max width?
It really would be nice to see more of the coaling operation.
Regardless of what more can be done, the cameras really are a big bonus, not only to our membership, but also as recruiting tool for new members or riders.
Many kudos for all who are working on the cameras!!!

Glad you gents approve. The north cam is already backed out all the way.

The "grande" finale is just about ready.

Stay tuned...

I can see smoke coming from the jack over the west engine house stall so that one is hot also. That must be 489.

The Grande unveiling - refresh your cam pages if you can't see this on there, it's below the S and N tipple cams.

Wow!!
We just keep getting more goodies!!
What a great view from the restroom area towards the coal tipple!
This is especially nice to see boarding passengers and what is going on at the platform.
