Osprey = Maw Yelling At Paw

Unread postby Roger Hogan » Mon May 11, 2015 4:48 am

Maw is yelling at Paw who was on a tree limb about 50 yards away. She is on eggs to she wanted him to go get her some lunch. After about 5 to 10 minutes of none stop yelling Pop took off for the lake to catch a fish.

GUYS Think about this.

One of the priorities for a male Osprey on his Honey Do's list is to go fishing. We should learn from this.

They are definitely very vocal when hungry! The Osprey I was watching in Cedar Key one year, Paw was in a tree near the nest eating for maybe 20 minutes with Maw yelling the whole time, he finally brought her the leftover portion of the tail. I don't think she was very happy, a while later he brought a whole fish. She got her point across!

Great pics here - absolutely love #1!
