#463 is hot!

Unread postby Edwin Frey » Sun Apr 19, 2015 8:55 am

Just stopped by the webcam site and see that the door is open to engine house stall #1 and smoke is pouring out of the stack. Rather a surprise for a Sunday morning when the crew has been working 4-10's for the past several months!

Thanks Edwin for the heads up, the one day I didn't look in on the cams - as you said, Sunday usually a quiet day.

Had to be gone for a couple hours, and don't see any signs of activity anymore (1:30PM). Maybe tomorrow? Last week, there was little outside activity beyond unloading hardware from the parts storage flatcar, so it would seem that #487 was probably getting most of the attention. With just a little over 4 weeks left until opening day, the viewing should be getting a lot more interesting in the days ahead.

Shop door now wide open, had been some heavy smoke a few minutes ago - perhaps 463 will make an appearance today.

There are certainly a lot of cars in the lot today. Also noticed that there is a speeder parked at Cumbres.

Work on Cumbres? Not sure what this is. Might just be headlights.
