Car 3073: D&RGRR/D&RGWRR 3000 series 30ft 25 ton box car
Build 1903, by the American Car and Foundry Company for $708.50
Delivered around February, 1904 to Denver and Rio Grande Railroad with board roof, KD brakes, 3' 7" flat top arch bar trucks, and etc..
U. S. Safety Appliances installed from 1912-1914- Cost $24.22
Rebuild May,1924 by the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad at Alamosa Shops with sheet metal Murphy roofs, Camel Iron-bound doors, and etc...
Purchased by the Colorado and New Mexico Joint Railroad Authorities in June, 1970 from the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad
Never "structurally" altered since purchase by the Colorado and New Mexico Joint Railroad Authorities in 1970
