09-24-14 Yard activities

Unread postby Larry Sullivan » Wed Sep 24, 2014 7:40 am

For those that weren't around this morning watching the cams, I think you'll like this one -- 487 starting out with the 3 gondola cars with the ballast, and 484 starting out from in front of the shop -- almost like a race, both moving at about the same speed parallel to each other -- just really liked the sights and sounds of this one.

Sorry for the little fumble with the time out getting me.

Larry,
That was great!

You didn't by chance see where the 463 went? Last night at sunset it was in front of the round house. In this clip, it is not there. Just curious I guess.

Prior to the above video, 484 moved a cold 463 from in front of the roundhouse into the shop. --- Having some net issues with uploading this morning, sorry it took so long for this to get here.

I enjoyed it too, John. Sorry I didn't get the 463 move up first, it kept failing the upload for some crazy reason.

'84 switched '63 (cold ) into the engine house. Probably needed some routine maintenance that didn't need to use boiler time.
