I wonder who the happy soul was at the throttle this morning.

Was that a different whistle?

Who ever was on the throttle was having a good time with the whistle. A lot of "ad-libbing"

Whoever/whatever, 216 left with an extra coach, lots of riders, and right on time. Shortly afterwards, 463 headed east pushing the three flatcars loaded with ties. Yes, lots of sweet whistle talk this morning!

Max is on 487 / 216, Jake is on work extra 463. They have a good relationship, and the "shave-and-a-haircut'" is just one example. Great guys.

Yes it was a nice departure this morning -- videos of both uploading, and I'll post shortly! Noticed too that the camera viewers are getting back over 100 again at departure times.
