Unread postby Larry Sullivan » Wed Jun 18, 2014 3:11 pm

First the Engineer School train arrived, pulling it's cars into the track just to the right of the main, dropping them their for now, then 488 headed off to the wye.

About 15 minutes later, right on time train 215 arrived.

Will place this here to complete the picture from yesterday - this morning, the 19th, 488 hooked up to the tie flats brought in yesterday, and took them down towards the wye. Seemed like some movement, switching going on for a bit, perhaps these are being used for the mentioned wye extension project?

Kind of interesting to note that 488 appears to be the only hot locomotive this morning.

Remainder of the school train moved back into the yard. Afterwards 488 went down to the tank and had a drink, now looking like it will lead the daily train. With that, I'm off for the day.
