Threatening Skies Over Chama (7 Aug)

Looks like some rain is comin'.

I saw some lightening to the south, but there's really no way to get a screen shot of that. My luck ain't that good.

The folks who worked last week pretty well lucked out a as far as the weather went. This week is another story. They had a deluge of almost Biblical proportions last evening as well. That's bound to screw up some of the painting projects that were on the wish list. Looks like the signal from the webcams is hosed as well, at least for the moment. Prior to the outage, a lot of activity was to be seen this morning, much of it featuring #15.

True Edwin, I talked to Sharon today and she said it came down like elephants and eagles for almost an hour last night. Considering that the pass gets more extreme weather up there, we were very lucky last week as all we got was a light rain a few times. I have been on the snowshed roof when an electrical storm rolled up and it is NOT FUN! Whew!
