489 has pulled today's train forward without adding any extra cars, so the other hot loco is just getting warm. Without having to stop at either the ash pit or coal dock, getting 489 ready this am was a very quick affair.

The season is underway! The first train, 489 and 8 cars, from Chama left on time with, I think, David giving the highball at 10 am MDT.

I think the other engine is 484. Anyway, I think tomorrow might be a double header, as the C&TS advertised that every Saturday this month would see a double header. Hope this is still happening!
