Is it just me or do I see 497 outside alongside the roundhouse with its tender? Wonder if something is going to happen? Maybe its freeing up space in the roundhouse.

Hope it is just part of the festivities, hate to see it left outside to rust.

You are quite right there, considering 497 is the only K-37 on the C&TS in substantially complete condition.

I do believe it was brought out and mated to its tender for the special event and once that is over will head back to its nest inside the round house to sleep for the time being.

Indeed! It is nice to get a look at it in the light of day. Just wish I was there to see it in person.
