Smoke near campground

Does anyone know what appears to be smoke in the direction of the campground?
Is this on purpose?

Allan

I have seen this smoke for 3 days now, Allan. It is 100% not loco smoke, so I have no idea what it is sadly.

This makes sense as it has been seen on more than one occasion.

Another question? Anyone know why loads of lumber are being delivered up beyond the oil rack location?

Regarding smoke seen from the campground, I was on the work train carrying the Friends tree and brush crew to our work sites outside of town and when we passed the campground last week we saw people there burning tree parts that were apparently from the storm damage last fall. We did similar cleanup tree work, but not burning, along the ROW between roughly First Crossing and the ridge east of Lobato Trestle.

Thanks Paul for confirming my suspicion. What is going to happen to the bruch/tree parts deposited by the stock yards?
