Actually, nearly all of the work supported by this train was removal of tree debris from last fall's winter storm, along with felling of hazard trees. The heavy snowfall bent and broken lots trees, mostly aspens. While the crew was on the ground at wooded areas between First Crossing and the ridge between Lobato Trestle and Dalton, we also picked up lots of all sorts but dead material that posed a fire hazard along the ROW. But hardly any brush involved.
