The photos tonight cover both Antonito and Chama where work on projects is going full speed ahead! The ridge-capping is completed on the Antonito Car Shelter Project, and Team Leader Jim Florey's crew is now working on the fabrication of the sign standards for the Osier interpretive signage project. Don Stewart's dedicated painting crew has been seen in Chama, at Osier and in Antonito, working from dawn to dusk. And excellent progress is reported on the Chama projects, especially those which are in direct support of the railroad: three stock cars, as well as the Cinder Bear rider gondola!
Friends' President Tim Tennant and four Friends' Board members attended the C&TSRR Commission meeting held today in Conejos. After the meeting, they toured the Antonito Car Restoration Facility with C&TSRR President John Bush, who was briefed on the projects now underway. It is an impressive list!.
