Session C canceled

I was alerted by a friend that the Friends project list now shows Session C is canceled. I am curious as to what prompted this decision, especially since New Mexico will be lifting stay at home restrictions on May 15, and the railroad is still on track (pun not intended) for June 13 start-up.

May I, once again, that the Friends site https://www.cumbrestoltec.org/news/465- ... tions.html be updated to reflect this latest cancellation.

To the Friends management: when will the Go NoGo be rendered for Session D? (I'm ready to return!)

John Engs just sent an email stating that "D" session has been cancelled!

Just a thought, since I had pulled out of C & D myself due to virus fears on my drive to and from Chama, that they either had too many people cancelling or realized that trying to social distance with the type of work that was being done was extremely hard. Always think of safety first in these situations.

If you are able to attend the Virtual Members Meeting on May 14, there may be more information on this. The work sessions aren't completely canceled, there will be several projects that continue during the time.

Right now both sessions C & D have been removed from Fido, so will be interesting to see what they do decide to run at this point. Would think it would be non equipment related.
